Tips for passengers flying abroad
Check the validity of your travel documents first. The validity of the passport should not expire less than 6 months after the end of the trip.
To pass passport control successfully make sure you are not in the list of debtors who are restricted from traveling outside the Republic of Kazakhstan .
During your stay in a foreign country, you are subject to its laws, which you must strictly observe.
It is recommended to take care of purchasing medical insurance for the period of stay abroad.
Before your trip search if you will have opportunity to purchase the medicines you need without prescription in the country you travel to.
Entry requirements to Georgia
From June 15, 2022, foreign citizens do not need a PCR test/vaccination passport to enter Georgia.Passengers departing to Georgia must have a return ticket.
In case of actual payment of additional services in airport in Georgia by non-cash method, commission fees are charged.
Entry requirements to Turkey
From June 1st, to enter Turkey it is no longer required to present a certificate with a negative PCR test result or a vaccination passport .
Please note that the passports of the citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan travelling to Turkey must be valid for a minimum of 180 days from the arrival date for them to be able to enter Turkey.
Entry requirements to Azerbaijan
Starting from March 28, 2023, Azerbaijan removes all COVID restrictions for passengers arriving in the country.
Citizens of foreign countries, as well as stateless persons, will no longer need a COVID-passport to enter. Without a COVID-passport, it is also allowed to visit celebration houses, sports and health facilities, shopping centers, hotels and travel by intercity transport.
Foreigners and Stateless persons arriving to the Republic of Azerbaijan in connection with 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, will be able to obtain visas on arrival at the international airports of the Republic of Azerbaijan from April1 till May 15, 2023.
One of the below mentioned documents is required for visa issuance:
- Accreditation card or other document confirming accreditation in accordance with the relevant rules of "Formula One Management Limited" company and International Automobile Federation, the international organizers of Formula 1 races.
- Accreditation card of the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
- A ticket/electronic ticket or a document confirming the purchase of a ticket for 2023 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Entry requirements to Armenia
The requirements for entry into the territory of Armenia, established during the pandemic, have lost their force.
When entering through the checkpoints installed at airports, from now on it will not be necessary to present a PCR test or a vaccination passport.
Entry requirements to India
Citizens of Kazakhstan require a visa to travel to the Republic of India, which must be obtained in advance.

Entry requirements to Uzbekistan
According to the order of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan with internal Russian passports, entry/exit is allowed only on direct flights to/from the Russian Federation. Passengers arriving/departing to/from Kazakhstan with Russian internal passports will not be allowed through the border service.
- This regulation also applies to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who wish to depart to the Russian Federation via Uzbekistan with an identity card of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the border guards will not let these passengers through.
Passengers with stays longer than three days must register with the local police within three working days of arrival. For passengers staying in a hotel, check-in is carried out by the hotel. Registration is strictly checked when leaving Uzbekistan.
Nationals of Kazakhstan not holding return/onward tickets could be refused entry.
Entry requirements to Kyrgyzstan
According to the order of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic with internal Russian passports, entry/exit is allowed only on direct flights to/from the Russian Federation. Passengers arriving/departing to/from Kazakhstan with Russian internal passports will not be allowed through the border service.
- This regulation also applies to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who wish to depart to the Russian Federation via Kyrgyzstan with an identity card of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the border guards will not let these passengers through.
Entry requirements to China
From 29 April 2023, all passengers travelling to China from all foreign countries by air may use an antigen test instead of a PCR test. Passengers who get a negative test result (no need to get a paper result) should fill in the "Departure/Entry Health Card to the People's Republic of China" and declare documents in WeChat "Passenger Customs Service" application, "Portable Customs" application or on the website. Entry is permitted for nationals of China, Kazakhstan, and other countries with a valid visa to China.
Passengers must also obtain a Customs Health Declaration QR. To obtain this QR, the passenger must apply on the page or via WeChat messenger. The QR is required at check-in and will be checked by Customs.

Passengers with valid visas issued before March 28, 2020, and not yet expired can enter China as well as holders of diplomatic/official/courtesy passports or C visas, passengers with visas issued after November 3, 2020, and passengers with invitation letters.
Entry requirements to Kazakhstan
Since June 8 2022, the requirements for confirmation of vaccination and PCR for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreigners have been canceled.
