Hand baggage

All passenger’s belongings are considered as hand baggage. It is necessary to put all things into 1 (one) piece of hand baggage in advance. Including ladies’ bag, camera, laptop, cake, flowers, handbag, baskets, cases.

Hand Baggage (Cabine baggage)

  • is carried in the aircraft cabin and should be placed in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of passenger.
  • stays under passenger’s supervision throughout the entire flight.
  • during boarding on an aircraft, passengers of international flights are allowed to carry products purchased in duty-free shops, subject to the stipulated sizes and the amount of hand luggage. The maximum weight of 1 piece of hand luggage allowed for carriage in the cabin of the aircraft should not exceed 10 kg. Upon presentation of hand luggage exceeding the free rate of 5 kg at boarding, the passenger is charged for the difference between 5 kg and the actual weight of hand luggage (up to 10 kg) at the established rates.

Hand baggage 10kg

      If the passenger is carrying:

  • 1 (one) piece of hand baggage within the given dimensions but it weighs between 5 to 10 kg it is allowed to carry it on board or register as checked baggage by paying according to the airline fares at the airport.
  • 1 (one) piece of hand baggage less than 5 kg but exceeds following dimensions 56x23x36 cm should be registered as checked baggage. The passenger should pay for each excess kg. Payment can be made online no later than 2 hours before departure on flyarystan.com or via the FlyArystan mobile app.
  • 1 (one) collapsible baby stroller, within given dimensions 56x23x36cm, but weighing from 5 kg to 10 kg, the passenger can take with him on board as "carry on". If the stroller exceeds its dimensions and weight, it is checked in as baggage.
  • 1 (one) piece of hand baggage (maximum weight 10 kg) 56x23x36 cm

*No later than 2 hours before departure on domestic and no later than 3 hours on international routes.

 

If hand baggage weighs more than 10 kg and/or not corresponding to the following sizes 56x23x36 cm, it is considered as checked baggage and the passenger should pay for each kg.

In addition to the free hand baggage allowance, for each child (under 5 years) one foldable stroller (maximum size when folded: 56*23*36 cm) is allowed to carry onboard for free.

Dangerous goods

Passengers are forbidden to carry any dangerous goods both in the hand baggage and/or in the checked-in baggage:

  • forbidden by any applicable laws, regulations or orders of any state to be flown from, into or over
  • not suitable for carriage because of its weight, size or any other unusual characteristics
  • firearms, ammunition and explosives including weapons of hunting, sporting purposes and air weapons
  • flammable substance
  • radioactive materials and substances
  • dummy or imitation of explosive devices
  • empty lighters with traces and smell of fuels and lubricants (i.e. previously fueled gasoline lighters)
  • compressed or liquefied gas (including aerosols)
  • toxic or infectious substances
  • medical instruments that can be used as piercing and cutting
  • needles (except for the situation of vital need - showing a certificate from the attending physician about the need to use a injector in flight)
  • compressed and condensed gas (including aerosols)
  • poisonous or infectious substances
  • corrosive substances
  • magnetic, harmful or malodorous substances and irritants
  • briefcases and security type attaché cases with built-in alarm devices, lithium batteries
  • pyrotechnical material
  • substances with a high oxygen content, e.g. peroxides and bleaching powder
  • items that endanger safety, property, life, health and bodily integrity of passengers and crew members onboard
  • remains of human bodies
  • any glue or paint
  • any items specified in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations

It is the passenger’s responsibility to respond to all requests from security authorities if required. If your baggage is not transported because you failed to fulfil requests from security, FlyArystan will not be liable for any associated cost.

Liquids

  • liquids must be in a container with a capacity of not more than 100 ml (water and other beverages, soups, syrups, jams, stews, sauces and pastes, food products in sauces or containing a large amount of liquid, creams, lotions, cosmetics and oils, perfumes, sprays, gels, including hair gels and shower, pressurized containers, including shaving foam, deodorants, etc., pastes, including toothpaste, mixtures of liquids with solids, mascara, lip gloss)
  • exceptions for hand luggage items (medicines, baby food, special dietary requirements in the amount required for the duration of the flight)
  • any liquid not meeting the requirements listed above will be disposed of at airport security, so please take care when packing your hand baggage.

    Nevertheless, regardless of the volume of the container, substances and liquids of unknown composition that do not have factory packaging, the corresponding technical passport and certificate will be banned.
    Liquids purchased from duty-free shops at the airport or on board an aircraft are also allowed, packed in a securely sealed (sealed) plastic bag that provides visual identification of access to the contents of the package during the flight. However, you will need a receipt for the purchased goods, on which there is reliable confirmation that this purchase was made at airport duty-free shops or on board the aircraft on the day of the trip.

Voucher

The voucher can only be used to purchase additional services on the airline's website www.flyarystan.com, in the FlyArystan mobile application, through the FlyArystan contact center at +7 727 331 10 10, or at travel agency offices. The voucher cannot be used at the airport.
