- Maiden Tower. According to archaeologists, it is a construction of the pre-Islamic period, a pagan temple of fire. Today, this building is a symbol of Baku and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- The Heydar Aliyev Center. Cultural center, which houses the museum of the third president of Azerbaijan, exhibition halls and the Auditorium Congress Center. The building is one of the most popular in the world. Rounded transitions of edges, no sharp angles - the result of the work of Zaha Hadid, the most famous architect of our time.
- Old City. Azerbaijan's key historical area with the country's most significant landmarks and streets. Shirvanshahs Palace, Bazaar Square, Shemakhi Gate, Mohammed Mosque, Maiden Tower and other equally important landmarks are located in the area.
- Palace of Shirvanshahs. Former residence of monarchs of Shirvan. The palace complex was built in the period from the 13th to the 16th century and is preserved till nowadays.

- Baku Crystal Hall. Sports, concert complex of crystal shape was built for the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The complex is located near the coast and is especially memorable for its evening illumination.
How to get from the airport to the Baku center?
Planes from Kazakhstan to Baku arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Central areas can be reached by public transport and cabs.
You can take the H1 bus to the central metro station "Koroghli" for $0.78. The trip takes 30 minutes.
You can pay for your ride on the bus with a BakuCard (BakiKart). It can be purchased at BakuCard machines at the entrance to the airport. They accept only Azeri Manat and small denominations. We recommend that you exchange/withdraw money at the airport in advance.
